The NAIC Service Contracts Model Act was adopted 17 years ago, and has served as the basis of many laws our firm has sought on behalf of the Service Contract Industry Council. I was honored to have worked with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners in developing this important law, and have enjoyed traveling the country to work towards its adoption in almost two thirds of the states.
