JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Wednesday, Governor Rick Scott’s Commission on Healthcare and Hospital Funding will make the second stop on its “Spotlight Transparency Tour” in Jacksonville. The Commission was formed by Governor Scott to provide greater transparency regarding how tax dollars are used at publicly-funded hospitals and the affordability, access, and quality of healthcare services they provide to Florida’s taxpayers. Following this week’s stop in Jacksonville, the next stop of the transparency tour will be in Miami on July 23.
